Give EmeraldHost a face: you create graphics, videos and social media content around gaming and hosting.
Product graphic, social media post or trailer: you make sure EmeraldHost looks great everywhere. You evolve our visual language and execute your ideas independently, from first sketch to finished asset.
Who we are:
EmeraldHost started in 2016 with Minecraft game servers, VPS, TeamSpeak and domains. All of that is still part of what we do, and over the years more and more games have been added, by now over 100, from Rust and Palworld to Hytale. Our customers are groups of friends, large communities and streamers who rely on their game server being up when everyone comes online at the same time in the evening.
Behind it all is still a small team, spread across Cologne, Hamburg and remote. What grew here was the product range, not the apparatus around it: decisions are made where the work happens, not three levels above it. For you that means no fixed job description, but an area you genuinely own, and ideas that go live in days instead of ending up in a quarterly meeting.
What matters to us: making hosting simple and honest. No fine print, no support that puts customers off, no processes for the sake of processes. If you would rather build things than run alignment rounds, you will fit in well here.
These tasks are waiting for you:
- You design graphics for our website, social media and campaigns.
- You edit short videos and trailers for our products.
- You evolve our visual language and design system.
- You work closely with marketing and content.
This is how you impress us:
- You are skilled with common design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator or Figma.
- You have a feel for gaming aesthetics and current trends.
- Video editing experience is a plus.
- You take feedback well and deliver reliably.
