SCUM is an open-world survival game set on a remote island. Between resources, hostile creatures and other survivors, every decision matters, because combat, tactics and resource management all feed into each other. Learning to read the island gets you further than simply running off.
At the core of the game sits a detailed survival layer. Food, water, clothing and a safe shelter need constant attention, and on top of that come values like strength, skills and your character's physical condition. Injuries and exhaustion are not a footnote, they quickly turn into a real problem.
Crafting lets you produce weapons, gear and useful tools, build your own base and defend it. Supplies stay scarce, so it pays to plan routes, stashes and raids ahead of time.
PvP is a fixed part of the experience. You can rob other players, secure your own supplies or team up with others to form an alliance. In this world mistrust is often the reason somebody sees the next day.
