Our stack is modern: Laravel, Vue.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, backed by MySQL, Redis and Docker. You build new features for our customer panel and website, from idea to deployment. Code reviews, proper tests and short decision paths are part of how we work.
Who we are:
EmeraldHost started in 2016 with Minecraft game servers, VPS, TeamSpeak and domains. All of that is still part of what we do, and over the years more and more games have been added, by now over 100, from Rust and Palworld to Hytale. Our customers are groups of friends, large communities and streamers who rely on their game server being up when everyone comes online at the same time in the evening.
Behind it all is still a small team, spread across Cologne, Hamburg and remote. What grew here was the product range, not the apparatus around it: decisions are made where the work happens, not three levels above it. For you that means no fixed job description, but an area you genuinely own, and ideas that go live in days instead of ending up in a quarterly meeting.
What matters to us: making hosting simple and honest. No fine print, no support that puts customers off, no processes for the sake of processes. If you would rather build things than run alignment rounds, you will fit in well here.
These tasks are waiting for you:
- You build new features for our customer panel with Laravel and Vue.js.
- You write clean, tested code and take part in code reviews.
- You improve existing flows across backend and frontend.
- You bring your own ideas and own them from start to finish.
This is how you impress us:
- Laravel and Vue.js: you have shipped production applications with both.
- You are fluent in SQL and ideally have worked with Redis and Docker.
- TypeScript and Tailwind CSS are familiar territory for you.
- You enjoy working in a team and explain your decisions clearly.
