Does the trial cost me anything?

No. The trial is completely free and there is nothing to cancel: the server stops automatically after 24 hours. Costs only arise once you convert it into a regular server.

Do I need payment details?

No. You only sign in with your account and confirm your email like a normal order. A credit card or other payment details are not required.

How quickly is my trial server ready?

Instantly: after the confirmation your trial server is provisioned automatically, usually in under 60 seconds. You will find the access details right in the panel.

What happens after the trial?

The server stops and is kept for a short grace period. Your data stays intact during that time so you can decide in peace.

Can I keep the server?

Yes. You can convert it into a regular server at any time from your dashboard. Your worlds and settings stay intact. Your server moves to another host system during this and is briefly offline. Afterwards it has a new address (IP and port), which you can find in the server management.

How often can I test?

The number of trial servers per account is limited so there is enough free for everyone. As soon as a test is possible again, you see it right on this page.

Are there restrictions during the trial?

Backups, game switching and addons are locked during the trial. Once you convert it into a regular server, everything unlocks. Whatever is currently locked is shown directly in the server management.

Is the trial server protected against DDoS attacks?

Yes. Every trial server automatically runs behind our DDoS protection, with nothing for you to set up.

Does my data stay intact?

Yes. As long as your trial is running or the server is in the grace period, your world and settings stay intact. If you convert it into a regular server, nothing is lost.

Empyrion: Galactic Survival combines space exploration with sandbox survival. You land on procedurally generated planets, mine resources, build bases and travel between alien worlds. Whether you settle down for good or stay permanently on the move is up to you.

The building and design system is the heart of the game. From small vehicles to spaceships and complete space stations, you design your constructions yourself and equip them with weapons and technology. After that you put them to the test directly in the open world.

Danger is everywhere. Hostile creatures and aliens await on foreign planets, and in PvP there are also other players after the same resources. Diplomacy, trade and tactics are often just as important as firepower.

On your own Empyrion server at EmeraldHost, your universe stays in place permanently. You set the difficulty, PvE and PvP areas, player slots and scenarios, and manage who is allowed to join.
