FOUNDRY is a building game about industrial manufacturing and automation on an alien planet. You start with basic mining and work your way up to highly complex production facilities. Every new technology opens the door to larger and more efficient factories.
Planning is at the heart of the game: building machines, connecting material flows, spotting bottlenecks and optimizing production lines. What begins with a handful of conveyor belts grows into a branching system of extraction, processing and refinement. The goal always stays the same: full control over resources and production processes.
The world gives you plenty of freedom to lay out your facilities however you see fit. At the same time, the planet presents challenges your factory has to be prepared for. In a sandbox game like this there is rarely one correct route, just many solutions with different trade-offs.
