Terraria is a 2D sandbox adventure in which you explore a randomly generated world, mine resources and turn them into tools, weapons and entire structures. Below the surface you will find sprawling cave systems, rare materials and bosses that push you to your limits. Played with friends, exploring quickly turns into a long-term project.
tShock is a server modification for Terraria that makes managing your world considerably easier. Using commands and permission groups you decide who is allowed to do what, manage your players and adjust settings while the server is running. On top of that, tShock brings protective features that curb cheating and griefing.
Getting started works even without server experience. There are plenty of guides for tShock and an active community, and many plugins can be added in just a few steps. That way your server grows along with your requirements.
