Does the trial cost me anything?

No. The trial is completely free and there is nothing to cancel: the server stops automatically after 24 hours. Costs only arise once you convert it into a regular server.

Do I need payment details?

No. You only sign in with your account and confirm your email like a normal order. A credit card or other payment details are not required.

How quickly is my trial server ready?

Instantly: after the confirmation your trial server is provisioned automatically, usually in under 60 seconds. You will find the access details right in the panel.

What happens after the trial?

The server stops and is kept for a short grace period. Your data stays intact during that time so you can decide in peace.

Can I keep the server?

Yes. You can convert it into a regular server at any time from your dashboard. Your worlds and settings stay intact. Your server moves to another host system during this and is briefly offline. Afterwards it has a new address (IP and port), which you can find in the server management.

How often can I test?

The number of trial servers per account is limited so there is enough free for everyone. As soon as a test is possible again, you see it right on this page.

Are there restrictions during the trial?

Backups, game switching and addons are locked during the trial. Once you convert it into a regular server, everything unlocks. Whatever is currently locked is shown directly in the server management.

Is the trial server protected against DDoS attacks?

Yes. Every trial server automatically runs behind our DDoS protection, with nothing for you to set up.

Does my data stay intact?

Yes. As long as your trial is running or the server is in the grace period, your world and settings stay intact. If you convert it into a regular server, nothing is lost.

The Forest is a survival horror game in which you are stranded in a remote forest as the survivor of a plane crash. What looks like a quiet coastal woodland at first quickly turns out to be the territory of hostile creatures. Your goal: survive, understand your surroundings and find out what lies behind the crash.

During the day you gather resources, expand your shelter, look for food and set traps. At night things get considerably rougher, as mutated cannibals move closer to your camp. If you want to dig deeper, you descend into the cave systems where the forest keeps its real secrets.

The mix of horror, building and creative freedom is what makes the game stand out. You can head out alone or build a shared camp with friends in multiplayer and split the defence between you. Every shift from day to night puts new decisions in front of you.
