Kerbal Space Program is a space simulation in which you act as an engineer sending the Kerbals, small green aliens, on interplanetary journeys. You build, launch, and land rockets, aircraft, and space stations. Realistic physics meets free-form construction.
The Kerbals are fearless, but also a little clumsy. Your job is to turn the available parts into rockets and spacecraft that actually work. From launch to landing you have to plan carefully to overcome gravity and see your mission through.
Alongside the campaign missions there is a sandbox mode with no set objectives. You explore orbit, fly to other planets, build space stations, and pick up the basics of spaceflight and physics along the way.
The game can be modded extensively. Additional parts and features widen your options, whether you are working out the most efficient rocket or running creative experiments in space.
