Mordhau is a medieval action game centred on brutal melee combat. Across duels, sieges and large-scale battles, everything comes down to how well you handle your weapon and how closely you coordinate with your team.
The combat system is built on craft and depth: you put your warrior together yourself, master weapons such as swords, axes, pikes and bows and develop your own style. Every strike, block and dodge can decide an encounter, in a one-on-one duel as much as in the middle of a melee.
On top of that come various game modes, including battles with up to 64 players fighting over fortresses, resources and strategic points. You storm sieges, capture castles or hold the line as a team. Barricades, supplies for your own troops and planned pushes add a tactical layer well beyond the individual fight.
