VEIN is an open-world survival game set in an apocalyptic world where every decision has consequences. A dynamic day and night cycle plus changing weather help decide when you dare to head outside. After dark, every route becomes a risk.
You start as a survivor in a ruined environment: finding food, mining resources, and building a safe refuge come first. From what you collect you craft weapons, equipment, and traps while defending and steadily expanding your base. Hostile mutants and scarce resources keep the pressure on.
The crafting and progression system has real depth: you unlock new technology, improve your defenses, and prepare for more dangerous trips. Whether you head out alone or team up with friends in cooperative multiplayer is your call. In a group, the workload spreads out noticeably better.
On your own VEIN server you decide how harsh the apocalypse gets. You adjust the server settings to your group, decide who may join, and your world stays intact between sessions.
