How to Transfer Your Game Server to Another Team or User

With Transfer Server you move your server to another team or hand it over to another user. This is useful, for example, if a fellow player should manage the server themselves from now on.

Open Transfer Server

1. Open actions
   Open your server's dashboard and click the Actions dropdown.

2. Select Transfer Server
   Select Transfer Server. The dialog offers two tabs: Change Team and Transfer to User.

Move to Another Team

1. Open Change Team
   Select the Change Team tab in the dialog.

2. Select the target team
   Select one of your teams as the new destination.

3. Move the server
   Click Move now. The move takes effect immediately.

Transfer to Another User

1. Open Transfer to User
   Select the Transfer to User tab in the dialog.

2. Enter the recipient
   In the recipient field, enter the username or e-mail address of the new owner.

3. Send the request
   Send the request. The recipient receives a request and has 7 days to accept it.

Change the Display Name

The display name is the name of your server in the dashboard. The server name players see in-game does not change.

1. Select Change Display Name
   Open the Actions dropdown and select Change Display Name.

2. Enter the new name
   Enter the new name in the Display Name field.

3. Save
   Click Save.
