How to Download the Savegame of Your Terraria tModLoader Server

Download a savegame from a Terraria tModLoader server

You can download your server's savegame to your PC at any time – for example as an additional backup, to archive it, or to move it to another server.

Stop the server
Stop your server via the dashboard.
Connect via SFTP
Connect to your server via SFTP.
Open the directory
Go to the following directory:
```
/.local/share/Terraria/tModLoader/Worlds/
```
Download the files
Download the .wld file and the matching .twld file to your PC. Both files belong together and form the savegame – always download both of them.
Start the server
Start your server again.
